Norma St. Amand
Norma St. Amand served as librarian and media specialist at Kingswood Middle School for nearly 25 years.

In 2001, Amand set a goal to read a book a day, to exemplify to students the importance of reading. Amand would not place anything on the library shelf unless she had read it herself and determined it to be age- and content-appropriate for students.

Mrs. St. Amand recognized very early that I have a love of literature and of reading. She encouraged me to read as much as I could and to read all different types of books. She was one of the most nurturing and caring teachers I had while in middle school and I credit her with helping me develop a love of reading that I still maintain today.
